GES prefers pragmatic innovations where actionable data (information) may deliver value to the end-user. Bringing science to society is a subset of our attempts where transforming principles into practice (leading to paradigm shifts?). The overarching concept of SARA is an example of broad-spectrum application where sensing (S) followed by analysis (A) of data triggers a form of response (R) which may include remote, semi-autonomous, actuation (A) in low-risk use cases which are not mission critical and has high level of fault tolerance. SARA tools may be used in healthcare, logistics, agriculture, etc. |
